About Me

Doctoral Student, Graduate Research Fellow
Department of Kinesiology & Sport Management
Texas A&M University
Ben Doyle, BS, CSCS
I am a PhD student in Kinesiology at Texas A&M University. I am an interdisciplinary scientist working at the intersection of exercise physiology, biomechanics, and data science.
My doctoral work focuses on using machine learning methods to leverage physiological and biomechanical measurements to model and predict performance and injury-related responses to fatigue and training. The long-term goal of this research is to enable individualized load management and fatigue detection tools along with personalized training prescription to maximize performance and mitigate injury risks in athletes, tactical personnel, and clinical populations.
In 2025, I created Doyle Performance Solutions, LLC as a consulting practice to apply the evidence-driven rigor I use in the lab to tackle real world problems. I love getting papers and presentations written as much as the next academic, but there is real value in translating the knowledge we gain in the lab to helping companies, teams, and individuals solve problems facing them every day. My business (like my research) is highly interdisciplinary – helping people build new tools from the ground up, communicate science accurately, and offer technical expertise for problems in the health, fitness, and performance space.
